www.findworkman.com.au- Our Purpose is simple: We aim to be the most effective way
for good tradesmen to expand their businesses.
How does it work for tradesmen?
Findworkman makes it easy for quality tradesmen to build bigger
and better businesses. Here's how it works:
- Registering: Before you can using the site fully you will
need to register - It's free. You'll need to tell us
some basic information about you business including where you are located and references
from recent satisfied customers.
- Notifications: Once you have registered, we will notify
you by email about newly posted jobs that are likely to be of interest to you -
It's free as well.
- Quoting: If you decide that you would like to quote for
a job one the site, simply click the "Quote Now" link at the bottom of
the job description. We charge a small fee for each job that you quote for.
- Get Rated: If you win the contract to do the work in question,
the customer will give us an honest opinion of your performance once you're finished.
Build up your positive ratings and potential customers will be more inclined to
employ you and recommend you to others.
How do I join?
Joining couldn't be easier. Simply click here to register.
Just provide us with some details about your business as well as references from
recent satisfied customers.
How do I contact customers?
If you would like to quote for a job featured on the site, simply click on the "Quote
Now" link at the bottom of the job description. You will the receive full contact
details of the customer (name, email, telephone number) and are free to arrange
a quote as normal. In order to quote you will need to be registered and have sufficient
credits on your findworkman account (you will be prompted to login/purchase credits
as appropriate)
What are the costs?
- Registering an account is free (forever)
- We notify you by email about newly posted jobs in your chosen categories of interest
for free
- Quoting for a job cost 1 credit. Credits can be purchased instantaneously by credit
or debit card.
Three packages are currently available.
- 5 credits for AUD $ 29.99 + GST (at 10%).
- 12 credits for AUD $ 57.99 + GST (at 10%).
- 20 credits for AUD $ 86.99 + GST (at 10%).
How do I purchase credits?
You will be prompted to purchase credits when quoting for a job if your findworkman
credits balance it at 0. Alternatively you can check your current balance and/or
top up your account by clicking here. (You must be logged

How do I change the number of job notifications I receive?
We will only notify you about new jobs that are both in one of your selected categories
of interest and within your maximum travelling distance. To change these settings
(you can stop notifications entirely as well) click here.

Can I quote for any of the jobs on the site?
Yes, you are free to quote for any job featured on the site.
Can I see which jobs I have already quoted for?
Yes. Simply login to your account and then browse to any of the job categories.
Jobs that you have quoted for will have a tick in the right hand column. You can
also review your history of quotes from the my quotes section.

How can I ask a customer to rate me?
Simply click here (you need to be logged in) to view the
jobs that you have quoted for. If you have completed a job recently, but haven't
yet received feedback, we would advise simply sending a reminder email to the customer
in question.
Can I get a receipt for my purchase?
Yes - Go to the my credits page and you'll be able to view
and/or print a receipt for your purchase from the "account history" section.
I can't login.

I can't purchase credits.
If you are experiencing difficulties making a purchase using
paypal, please check the following points:
- Ensure that the card details you entered are correct
- Ensure that the personal details you entered (name, address, etc) match those that
are held by your bank.
- If possible try using a different credit or debit card
- Register for a paypal account and purchase credits using the account
- If all else fails, please contact contact
us to arrange for an alternative payment method
My paypal account isn't working. How can I purchase credits?
It is not neccessary to have a paypal account in order to purchase credits. When
making a payment, simply click continue where it says "Don't have a paypal
account". You will then only need to fill in your payment details to proceed.
I've purchased credits but my credits balance hasn't changed.
- Google Checkout: If you purchsed credits using Google checkout, credits will
be added to your findworkman account automatically once security checks for your
transaction have been completed. This usually takes 15 to 20 minutes from completion
of the purchase, but can take longer. You can login to your Google checkout account
in order to review the status of your purchase.
- Paypal:
- Credit or debit card: If you purchased credits via Paypal using a credit
or debit card, your findworkman account balance will usually reflect this purchase
virtually instantaneously. If this is not the case then the paypal payments system
may be under heavy use. Simply log back into you account in a couple of hours and
your new credits should be available.
- E-cheque (a transfer from your bank account) If you purchased credits via
Paypal using an "e-cheque" we cannot credit your findworkman balance until
the funds have cleared. This usually takes 5 to 7 working days. You will receive
a confirmation email from paypal when the funds have cleared, after which your findworkman
account will be credited.
